City administration informed Sea Isle City Council, at its Feb. 9 meeting, that it was making a small amendment to the ordinance curbing transferability of seasonal parking permits due to, in its explanation, permit owners not always adhering to the regulation of use.

Sea Isle City Council, at its Jan. 26 meeting, approved an ordinance on first reading that eliminates the ability to transfer parking permits used in summer. 

A year ago, following a lawsuit, City Council rescinded an ordinance that gave residents without driveways the opportunity to apply a curbside space to park their car.
