To the Editor:
I want to voice my thoughts on the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
It is interesting to me that Sens. Booker and Menendez and U.S. Rep. Van Drew all represent us, the people, but they do not seem to have the same burden as us, the people.
Under the ACA, the more money one makes, the higher the premium, deductible, and maximum out of pocket. Plus, the actual coverage does not increase unless you are willing to pay more.
My point is, my elected officials cannot possibly understand this burden because it must not apply to them. I say this because if the ACA did affect them, they would be working much harder to fix this and lighten the burden they all voted to place on us, the people they claim to represent.
