PETERSBURG – The Upper Township Committee adopted revisions to its zoning ordinance, Nov. 14, including new regulations for pervious paving and landscaping stones in the township’s resort residential and resort commercial zoning districts.
The committee took the action based on recommendation from the municipal planning board. Upper Township Committee adopted several technical revisions to its ordinance covering land use and zoning. Another provision covers revision of outdoor lighting standards, which some residents have requested, to better aid drivers on various dark roads in several of the municipality’s more rural sections.
Camille Sailer, who covers Dennis Township, Sea Isle City and Upper Township, enjoys covering the northern part of the county as an interesting counterpoint to her work as an international trade consultant.
