NORTH WILDWOOD - Olde New Jersey Avenue will be closed in the festival area from Pine Avenue through Second Avenue for the BBQ Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival starting at 6 a.m. July 12-14, 2019.
According to a North Wildwood Police release, the side streets in the area between New Jersey and Central avenues will also be closed.
Spruce Avenue will remain open but expect traffic delays in the area.
Second Avenue and some parts of Olde New Jersey Avenue will be closed for festival setup July 11.
Parking: Festival parking will be set up on Anglesea Drive for free (angle parking only).
Vehicles will not be permitted to be parked in this area after 8 p.m. July 14.
Pedestrians/Motorists: Expect higher volume of pedestrians in the area.
Attendees are reminded to always cross at corners, within marked crosswalks where available.
Police will man traffic posts to assist pedestrians crossing at Second and New Jersey avenues, First and New Jersey avenues and Spruce and Olde New Jersey avenues.
Motorists are reminded to stop for pedestrians in marked crosswalks and be alert for pedestrians at all times.
Restrictions: No backpacks/packages will be permitted in the festival area.
Open display of alcoholic beverages is only permitted in the festival area.
