By Camille Sailer

PETERSBURG – The township’s engineer informed Upper Township Committee members at their Sept. 12 meeting that Atlantic City Electric continues to stage its heavy equipment, platforms, matting and other necessary infrastructure.
The company is proceeding with its project to replace outdated fiberglass poles with more modern monopoles.
“Areas of staging include Ulmer’s Field on Route 9 by the Seaville Acme and other areas throughout the municipality,” Dietrich explained.
“Residents will notice this staging and a lot of activity with even helicopters flying overhead until this stage of the project is finished in May 2023,” he continued.
