Braces have changed a lot in the last 15 years.

If you wore braces, you likely wore old technology; metal braces, which used elastics to connect wiring to the brace. You probably remember that elastics created uncomfortable friction after each appointment.

Older technology braces also had other challenges, including cleaning issues, discomfort, tooth removal and longer treatment times.

Today, people who decide to straighten their teeth with braces have more options apart from traditional dental braces. One of the options is self-ligating braces, like T1 and TenBrook Clear braces, which are braces that come with a mechanism. A lot of people prefer this option because it allows the orthodontist to move teeth with lower forces, which is healthier and leads to faster tooth movement. Also, it's now it’s available in clear.

What are Clear Braces, and what are they made of?

Clear braces are a cosmetic alternative to metal braces, which blend in better with your teeth and are less noticeable.  They are a great option for those who want braces, but don’t want them to show, and also for those who are not candidates for Invisalign, but still desire a less visible solution.

TenBrook Clear braces use the latest in braces technology by securing the bracket to the wire using a frictionless sliding door. The great news for you is this leads to faster treatment, fewer visits to the orthodontist, exceptional comfort and the most beautiful face and smiles.

With TenBrook Clear braces, people may not realize you're wearing braces. Other clear, or so-called invisible, braces have visible metal parts, or elastic ties, that can become yellow during treatment. Tireless TenBrook Clear braces are more discrete, virtually invisible and resistant to staining and discoloration throughout treatment.

It is important to find an orthodontist who uses high-quality clear braces that will be more resistant to staining and breakage. Not all clear braces are created equal.

Clear braces can be made of many different materials, depending on the manufacturer. Some clear braces are made of ceramic or porcelain, while others are made of a material similar to plastic.

At TenBrook Orthodontics, we offer the latest technology clear braces manufactured by innovative laser technology, allowing for an ultra-smooth surface and low profile braces. This innovative brace design delivers exceptional comfort and oral care, due to smaller brace size and a sliding mechanism that eliminates the need for rubber bands (which supports better hygiene, since plaque has less of an opportunity to accumulate).

The TenBrook Clear braces are aesthetically pleasing, since they don’t show as much as traditional braces. Because people worry about how the braces are going to look on them, getting TenBrook Clear braces would be a solution.

At TenBrook Orthodontics, we pride ourselves in delivering the highest quality treatment through the most innovative technology that science and research offers. This ensures that our patients experience the best orthodontic care possible, including Dr. TenBrook’s patented T1 and TenBrook Clear braces.
