WILDWOOD CREST – The first of 24 live music shows is set as the 2018 Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series kicks off with Fuse Box performing classic and progressive rock hits June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park.

Subsequent Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series shows will be held each Saturday through Sept. 22 and each Wednesday through Aug. 29. An additional show, featuring the Chatterband (dance and party hits), will be held July 6. The Chatterband was originally scheduled to play the Wildwood Crest Summer Kickoff Concert May 27 but the show was postponed by rain.

The first Saturday performance of the series on June 30 will feature Soul’d Again, featuring soul, funk and oldies hits.

All Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and are held at Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. Admission to each show is free. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.

The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series, the largest and most comprehensive municipal concert series at the Jersey Shore, regularly draws thousands to Centennial Park, located just steps from the beach.

The series includes many of the East Coast’s top tribute acts and cover bands performing a wide variety of music, from oldies to today’s rock-and-roll and dance hits.

Some of the top dance and party bands scheduled to appear this summer include Don’t Call Me Francis, Stellar Mojo, Big City, Legacy Band, Flowers For Taco, Kicking Sunrise and many more.

Also scheduled for this summer is a show by Kevin Miller’s Smashed, a band performing rock hits from the 80s and 90s that is led by Miller, the drummer for national rock artist Fuel.
