Cape May County’s beaches and resort towns are ranked high by beach goers that number in the millions.
It is no secret. Cape May County beaches have been collecting best beach awards for many years and 2017 is no exception. The beaches from Ocean City to Cape May New Jersey have again been selected as some of New Jersey’s “Favorite Beaches”. Ocean City, New Jersey was ranked the best overall “Favorite Beach” in the 2017 annual New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium contest.
The favorite New Jersey beaches on the Jersey Cape include Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Wildwood Crest, Cape May and Wildwood. Every year since the contest started in 2008, Cape May County beaches have ranked in the top ten. But the accolades don’t stop with best New Jersey beaches, Ocean City was named the favorite beach in New Jersey for the fourth consecutive year, and named the 2016 Coastal Living’s Best Beach in America.
