FISHING CREEK – The St. Barnabas Art Group of Lower Township invites the public to its 58th annual art show Aug. 9, 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 2723 Bay Drive, Fishing Creek. Light refreshments will be served.
The Barnabas Art Group began 58 years ago under the tutelage of the late Rev. William Shelton. For decades Shelton encouraged all ages to discover their potential as artists and to enjoy painting.
After his death, the group continued to meet weekly, painting together. Artworks created this year are showcased in an outdoor setting, surrounded by a background of gardens by the Delaware Bay at the home of Fury Feraco.
Artists include: Kathy Daniels, Peg Dittmar, Fury Feraco, Janet McShain, Fran Moore, Jean Nazarow, Chad A. Randle, Karen Rose, S. T. Svensson, Pamela Verity, and Anna Marie Zabielski.
All are welcome.
Art is displayed under a large open tent allowing guests to enjoy the show rain or shine.
