Cape Tech Students Take Home Gold

Cape Tech’s Chapter of SkillsUSA takes home the Gold from the Medal Awards Presentation held on April 27 at Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT).  Cape Tech’s first place finishers are the best in the State.
Cape Tech winners/competition include: Isabella Schmucker, Barbering, Gold; Nate Wenker, Digital Cinema Production, Gold; Noah Wenker, Digital Cinema Production, Gold; Esteban Benitez, HVAC Post Secondary, Gold; Mike Mastalski, HVACR, Silver.
The students travel to Atlanta in June to compete nationally and represent the State of New Jersey at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference.
Mrs. Jackie Holland, Cosmetology teacher, Mr. Christopher Jones, Communication Arts Technology teacher, and Mr. Charles Weiss, HVAC-R & Sustainable Energies teacher, are the students’ instructors and are very proud of the students’ accomplishments.
