CAPE MAY – The Fourth Annual Dragon Boat Festival returned to Cape May Harbor Sept. 19.
The Dragon Boats launched from the beach at the Fisherman’s Memorial and competed in a 200 meter race. Each team raced three times to compete for the Grand Champion Trophy and gold, silver and bronze medals. Trophies were also given for best team spirit, best decorated tent, best team cheer or dance, and least wet.
The festival also included demonstrations, entertainment, food, shopping, and a beer garden.
