Remo J. Carboni (Ray) passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 91. He was the beloved son of the late Romolo (Raymond) and Erminia (Emma) Carboni. He is survived by his devoted siblings: Diana McDonnell, Lydia Borek, and Steven Carboni. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews.Ray was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, Alabama University and NYU where he earned his Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He worked at the Naval Air Development Center in Johnsville, Pa. Then served as a Naval Officer on the USS Canberra. Ray's next assignment was at NASA in Cleveland, Ohio. After leaving the Navy he was an Aerodynamicist at McDonald Douglas in California. He spent the later years of his life residing in Avalon, NJ.Services will be held privately at New St. Mary’s Cemetery Bellmawr, NJ.
