Local residents were among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2018 spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s List.
The students are:
Maryanne T. Mathis, of Court House, a freshman nursing major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.
Eileen McNulty, of Court House, a sophomore electrical engineering major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
Delaney R. Wallace, of Cape May, a senior occupational therapy major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.

Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2018 at its 166th commencement exercises May 19.
Alexandra Coste, of Ocean City, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Rochester Institute of Technology’s Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Elizabeth Sheffield, of Ocean City, who is in the film and animation program, and Jasmine West, of Cape May, who is in the new media design program, were named to the Dean’s List.

A total of 11,347 students enrolled during the 2018 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Rachel Elizabeth Wade, of Court House has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester.
Wade is majoring in Food Science and Human Nutrition.
To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Taylor Gamble, of Villas has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Md., for outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2018 semester.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Fay Award from the University of Vermont, which was established in 1973 in honor of a former faculty member and is given to the student who has made the greatest contribution to civil or environmental engineering during the past year.

To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.
