Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean’s List. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum GPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
The following local students have achieved this honor and indicated that Loyola can release their directory information:

Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above at Gettysburg College  were recently placed on the Dean’s Honor List.
The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Fall 2017 semester:

Gettysburg College students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester’s work are placed on the Deans’ Commendation List. The following students have been placed on the Fall 2017 list:
Olivia Briggs, of Ocean View, Class of 2020
Stephen Pashuck, of Ocean City, Class of 2017

Several students at Bob Jones University (BJU) were recently recognized as legacy students by the BJU Alumni Association.
Each year, the BJU Alumni Association is pleased to recognize second, third, and fourth generation legacy students. In order to be eligible, students must have at least one parent who graduated from BJU.
Graduating legacy students are presented with a medallion signifying the multi-generational history during commencement week at the annual Legacy Medallion Ceremony and Reception. Graduating seniors are encouraged to wear their medallions during commencement activities.
In addition to the Legacy Medallion, the BJU Alumni Association makes available Alumni Child Tuition Aid grants to legacy students who have at least one parent who is a member of the Association. Eligible students have received over $260,000 in grants over the life of the program.
Aaron Church, of Court House, is a freshman majoring in Business Administration.
Rebecca Church, of Court House, is a freshman majoring in Elementary Education.

Stephanie Miller, of Court House, a junior English – Professional Writing major, was named to the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College for the fall 2017 semester.
Students on the dean’s list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Joseph Peter Duma, of Woodbine, has been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester.
Duma is majoring in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Local students have been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester.

Rachel Elizabeth Wade, of Court House, whose major is Food Science and Human Nutrition
Paige Kathryn Cantz, of Green Creek, whose major is Psychology
Patrick H. Cusack, of Marmora, whose major is Biosystems Engineering
Stephen Mackell Hoy, of Stone Harbor, whose major is Microbiology
To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2017 semester at Quinnipiac University:
Evan Nathan of Marmora
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower can C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

The following students have been named to the fall 2017 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall of 2017.
Kevin Curran, of Ocean View, a master of occupational therapy student.
William Tomlin, of Marmora, a doctor of physical therapy student.

Zachary Altieri, of Petersburg, excelled during the Fall 2017 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List at Hofstra University.

Villas resident and Wesley College student Miranda Lutz was among 75 students who achieved academic success for the fall 2017 semester and was placed on the President’s List. In order to be recognized, students must achieve a 4.0 G.P.A. for the semester.

Bradley Fournier was named to the Dean’s List at Jacksonville University’s Davis College of Business for fall 2017 semester. Bradley, a Junior International Business major, achieved a 3.6 GPA.
