Bradley Fournier was named to the Dean’s List at Jacksonville University’s Davis College of Business. Bradley, an International Business major, was recognized for outstanding work attaining a 3.74 GPA.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Jake Davis, of Woodbine, has been chosen as the Liberty League Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, it has been announced. He helped the No. 14 Engineers to a second place finish in the 26-school Purple Valley Classic hosted by Williams College.

In the premier Division III cross country meet of the week, which included six nationally-ranked teams, Davis (Ocean City High School) finished third on the team and 21st overall with a time of 27:02.6. He ran the 8K course in a 5:27 pace to finish second among all freshmen, trailing only MIT's Slaney Kent, who was 17th overall (26:53.1). There were 324 total competitors in the race.

In Commencement exercises May 16, Fairleigh Dickinson University conferred more than 3,000 degrees, ranging from associates to doctorates, on graduates, at MetLife Stadium.

Tamara Marple, of Woodbine, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, has graduated with a BA in Individualized Studies.

Imani Hubbard, of Court House, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, has graduated with a BS in Health Information Management.

Jessica Wheaton, of Cape May, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, has graduated with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Tricia Lemma, of Court House, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, has graduated with an MA in Education for Certified Teachers.

Jacquelyn Ferentz, of West Wildwood, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, has graduated with an MAS in Administrative Science.

Tanner Kerr, of Avalon, a doctor of physical therapy student at University of the Sciences, received a white coat at the 13th Annual Physical Therapy White Coat Ceremony Sept. 9. The White Coat Ceremony is an annual rite of passage for students entering the professional phase of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Kerr continues on the path to receiving a doctor of physical therapy degree in May 2020. Donning their white coats, the more than 75 student-physical therapists recited the Oath of a Physical Therapist, a gesture to reinforce their commitment to working with patients compassionately and to enhancing their health and well-being.

Angela Guido, of Ocean City, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's (FDU) Florham Campus in Madison, has been inducted into FDU's Phi Omega Epsilon honor society for the Spring 2017 semester.

Eligibility for membership in the University's senior honor society is established by completing at least 90 earned credits toward an undergraduate degree with a CGPR of 3.50. Of these 90 credits, the last 58 must have been taken at the University, and a CGPR of 3.20 must have been maintained for all of them.

All the preceding requirements must have been fulfilled prior to the accumulation of 112 credits. Transfer students who are unable to fulfill the prerequisite 58-credit requirement will be able to establish eligibility if they have taken at least 32 credits prior to the accumulation of 112 credits and if they have maintained a CGPR of 3.50 during their entire career at Fairleigh Dickinson.

Ryan Burke, of Court House, has received his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va., with an "A" average.  

He is a 2012 graduate of Middle Township High School with Distinguished Honors, and a Dean's List 2016 graduate from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.

Burke has accepted a position as a Research Assistant at WestEd, an educational firm located in San Francisco.

Montel Pitt, of Rio Grande, has been named to the Central Penn College Dean's List for the spring 2017 term. Pitt is currently majoring in Criminal Justice Administration. To qualify for the designation, a student must carry six or more credits and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better for the term.
