COURT HOUSE – A noted Civil War historian and author will lecture at the Museum of Cape May County, highlighting the details of the defense of the Cemetery Ridge stone wall during the Battle of Gettysburg.
During the lecture, historian Donald Ernsberger will provide very detailed information regarding the stone wall during Maj. Gen. George Pickett’s charge on July 3, 1863.
This event offers a very rare opportunity to learn about one of the most famous parts of the battle at Gettysburg.
Hosted by the Cape May County Civil War Round Table in conjunction with The Museum of Cape May County, the lecture takes place Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. inside The Museum’s historic barn.  This lecture is free and open to the public.
