MECHANIC HELPER
JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Township is seeking a full-time mechanic helper who will work within
the Public Works Garage. The position shall be 40 hours per week (Monday
through Friday). We are seeking a motivated individual to perform basic to indepth auto repair; ASE certifications are helpful but not required. We provide
on-the-job training and auto repair courses when available. Applications can

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time Permanent
EXPERIENCE: Candidates must possess valid NJ CDL. Potential candidates without CDL licenses can be hired temporarily and assist with obtaining
CDL. Electrical and handyman experience is a plus but not required. Preference will be given to candidates with any mechanical experience.
COMPENSATION: The starting salary for this position is $35000.
