The holiday shopping season officially opens on Wednesday, Nov. 14 when the Upper Township Business Association presents its 7th annual Community Night. This free event is open to the public and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Upper Township Elementary School. Local businesses and community groups will showcase their products and services, as well as offer free product samples, giveaways and a chance to win a fabulous door prize from their organization. Additionally, businesses will provide exclusive discounts which can be redeemed on Small Business Saturday, November 24. Santa will be on hand to greet children, have his picture taken and hear wish lists. The evening will also include a Kid’s Creation Station. Children will have the opportunity to create unique greeting cards which will be sent to members of the military this holiday season. At the conclusion of the event, all attendees will have a chance to win a bicycle when 2 lucky winners will be drawn.
