Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. During the 45-minute class we will work on breath practice, stress and tension reduction techniques, as well as a wide range of modified yoga poses for those with limited mobility. The class is open to any adult who would like to learn and practice mind/body awareness.
Kathryn has been practicing yoga for 8 years, and she did her 200-hour teacher training in 2013. Her personal practice has changed her life in an abundance of positive ways, and she wants to pass on that positivity to those she teaches. Her goal is to show people that practicing ahimsa (non-violence) toward ourselves and bodies starts us on the journey to showing compassion to all living things.
