Sturdy Supports Goshen Volunteer Fire Department

USCG Boating Safety Classes
A one-day Boating Safety Course will be offered on the following Saturdays: March 10, April 7, May 5, 19, and June 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Price Hall located at Academy and Seashore Roads in Cold Spring.
Students will receive an official New Jersey Safe Boating Certificate which is required by law for any person 16 years of age or older who intends to operate a vessel 12 feet and over, or personal watercraft. Course fee is $45. Instructors are qualified personnel of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 86 of Lower Township.

Riseden Graduates from Basic
COURT HOUSE — Air National Guard Airman Zachary A. Riseden, son of Lynne Riseden of this community, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
He is a 2004 graduate of Middle Township High School, and earned an associate degree in 2010 from Indian River State College, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
