It has become evident, this man, who is titled a "Police Chief", is no longer able to effectively discharge his duties. The mere "Perception" of these accussations, is enought to remove any public official, especially a cop in charge of enforcing laws. He should have given us taxpayer's better. I served as an official for thirty year's, and if I had these accussations against me, I would have resigned. The misconduct he is accussed of, is not isolated with his wife. He has had clouded his office since Atlantic City, and his own conduct surrounding the school controversary, are his own doings. The Mayor has known about this lit fuse for some time now, and he is disgracing himself, by his in-action. You can't bury your head in the sand, looking for answers Mr. Mayor. You and our new city council, should be more assertive. Get moving please.

It smacks of the disbelief expressed in the movie Casablanca that "there is gambling going on @ Rick's". Wake up and smell the funnel cake, there is no accountability for a three month active duty position and nine month home security gig that not one person in authority relieved the Chief of his duties far earlier than the salacious text messages of his illicit lover apparently kicked the ball downhill on.
Barney Fife is rolling over in his grave knowing that he could have made over 100K policing a town the size of Mayberry for 9 months a year!! The entire governance of SIC should be under " special investigation" by an Independent Philly lawyer.
