Anna Cope Brinton was born September 3, 1905 in West Chester, Pa. Her parents were Morris and Fannie Cope and she grew up on the family farm with her brother Edward.

Anna married Marshall Brinton in Valley Forge Chapel, on June 27, 1928. They were married for 56 years when he died in 1984.

Anna celebrated her 103rd birthday Sept. 3 along with son Edward, his wife Margaret, her grandchildren Brenda Miele, Dana Ann Brinton and great grandson Marshall Vincent Miele at the Loyalton of Cape May.
