Four Syringes Found on Ocean City Beach; Reopening Will Hinge on Aug. 29 Inspection
On the morning of Aug. 28, crews from Ocean City found a single syringe on the beach at 39th Street. As officials continued to check the shoreline, Cape May County Health Department ordered the areas east of the high tide line from 38th to 40th streets to be shut down until an examination could be conducted.
