COURT HOUSE — A total of 3,807 voters turned out in Cape May City, Cape May Point, and Ocean City Tuesday to elect their municipal leaders, according to unofficial results from the Cape May County Clerk's office.
In Cape May, a new mayor was elected.
“Tonight’s election showed that the public of Cape May wants a change and that change is to be open input for them during the whole process of determining the future of this city,” said Mayor Elect Edward J. Mahaney Jr. “The public wants to be involved in the planning and also the funding of the direction this city going in.”
