PRICE, CATHERINE H., age 76, of Villas passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at North Cape Center. Catherine was born February 20, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. She was raised in South Philadelphia and formerly lived in NE Philadelphia before relocating to the Cape May area 30 years ago. Catherine worked as a non teachers aide for the Philadelphia School District, for over 20 years. After relocating to the Cape May area, she worked as a bartender at the VFW in Villas. She is survived by her companion Edward Seislove; one daughter Cathleen Price-Witsman (Bill) of Philadelphia, PA; two sons: Edward (Kathy) Price of Wildwood, NJ &, John (Donna) Price of Hillard, OH; a step daughter, Kelly (Steve) Rudolph of Villas; and a brother, James Gourley. Catherine also has 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her step son Edward Seislove. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where relatives and friends may call from 10-11 AM. SHARP, VIVIAN MILDRED, age 91, of Erma passed away peacefully Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Vivian was born December 29, 1924 in Bridgeton, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Herbert and the late Mildred (Wolfe) Holding. Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Nelson E Sharp on 5/14/2012and her son Dennis Sharp on 11/14/2015. She is survived by two daughters: Paulette Udodov of Rio Grande, NJ & Lorraine Matthews of North Cape May, NJ; and one son: Steven Sharp of Longport, NJ. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. SANCHEZ, LYDIA, 67, former Wildwood resident, passed away comfortably with her children by her side in Clearwater, FL on January 31, 2016. Lydia was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and moved to New Jersey as a teen with her parents. Lydia was full of life. She loved to cook for her friends and family. Lydia enjoyed dancing, watching Lifetime TV, and mostly spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lydia is survived by her children Carmencita and Gigamia Cruz, Julia Evans (Bruce), James Rodriguez, Jerry Benitez (Elaine), Humberto Ramirez Jr., and Jose Gonzales.Also left to mourn are her grandchildren Janickia Hill, Ashonn Jones, Dynasty Willis, Nehemiah Evans, Emmanuel Beneitz, Jerry Benetiz Jr., Alexis Benetiz, Erica Benetiz, Jodi Benetiz, Honesti Rodriguez, Elijah Rodriguez, Sadlia Keith, Diante ONeal, Jasmine Rodriguez, Chanel Ramirez, Taina Ramirez, and Lilyanna Ramirez.She will be missed by her sisters and brothers Ramon Lopez, Luisa Lopez, Aida Rojas, Stephen Rojas (Bertha), Emmanuel Rojas (Brenda), Angela Rojas (William), Maria Rojas, Julio Rojas (Bobbi). CHESTER, HOWARD EARL, 70, of Petersburg, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home. Born in Atlantic City, he was a lifelong Cape May County resident. Mr. Chester served in the Army National Guard from 1965 until 1987. He worked in facilities maintenance for Claridge Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, he worked as Security at NAFEC and as a pro-loader for Home Depot in Cape May Court House, NJ. Mr. Chester was a member of Seaville Volunteer Fire Company and the Ocean City Auxiliary Police. He was a muscle car enthusiast and enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a competitive body builder. Surviving are his wife, Leisa Chester (nee Hall) of Petersburg, NJ, five children, Pam Chamberlain (Mike O’Sullivan) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Marlene Dallin (Kevin Bascom) of Villas, NJ, Brian Ploe (Danielle) of Steelmantown, NJ, Gary Ploe (Danielle) of Seaville, NJ, John Chester (Maddie Szabo) of Petersburg, NJ, four grandchildren, Kevin, Heather, Thomas M., Thomas R., two great grandchildren, Paisley and Mackenzie, a sister, Elaine Chester of Wilmington, DE, his mother, Lillie Mae Chester of Petersburg, NJ and many nieces and nephews. RIES, WILLIAM REGINALD, Sr., 71, of Rio Grande passed away on Friday January 29, 2016 surrounded by his family. Bill joined the US Navy in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1969. He was a proud member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Loyal Order of Moose organizations.
