President Bush Visits Latin America

MEXICO CITY -- When President Bush lands in the Yucatan colonial city of Merida on Monday night, he will encounter a new Mexican government that wants the same thing the old one wanted: comprehensive immigration reform in the United States.

What's different is that Mexican President Felipe Calderón, in office since December, is trying a slower and subtler approach. Calderón and his lieutenants have even invented a buzzword to define their strategy, saying they will "desmigratizar" the bilateral agenda, or remove immigration from the forefront of U.S.-Mexico relations.

It has become evident, this man, who is titled a "Police Chief", is no longer able to effectively discharge his duties. The mere "Perception" of these accussations, is enought to remove any public official, especially a cop in charge of enforcing laws. He should have given us taxpayer's better. I served as an official for thirty year's, and if I had these accussations against me, I would have resigned. The misconduct he is accussed of, is not isolated with his wife. He has had clouded his office since Atlantic City, and his own conduct surrounding the school controversary, are his own doings. The Mayor has known about this lit fuse for some time now, and he is disgracing himself, by his in-action. You can't bury your head in the sand, looking for answers Mr. Mayor. You and our new city council, should be more assertive. Get moving please.

Will (cmpo) investigate how the chief used his position when it came to dealing with the public school officials in SIC regarding his son? (uniform/police car when meeting)
