I am a relative of the victim. This woman who did this needs to get punished with jail time AND pay back everything she took. She took jewelry that might never be found and replaced so she needs to pay back the value of that, too. Someone else already said this piece of *** was just in trouble for stealing just last winter and she is at it again only a few months later. Not only for my family's sake, but for everyone else that may be or was victimized by this trash, I hope they make her pay!

If the Law Enforcement is "so weak" Why does the Lower Township Police Department make so many arrest ?

Lower Township, like all municipalities, does not require degrees to be a police officer. Only the State Police and FBI require degrees. Most police officers gain their knowledge and expertise while working the job, getting to know the neighborhoods, the people who live in the neighborhoods, who belongs where and who doesn't belong where. A college degree does not give you that valuable information. You must also remember - hiring well-educated individuals (which does not always translate to intelligent) for the police department would require higher salaries and everybody moans and groans now what the police are paid. I am not married to nor related to any police officer in Lower Township but I pay attention to the way the politicians and the public are always trying to "save" money in the department. Nobody ever recognizes that police officers put their lives on the line everyday - even in Lower Township. For instance - pay attention to what Mike Beck has to say - if he had his way Lower Township would be protected security guards.

In response to Kensington cousins---YOU HAVE WEAK LAW ENFORCEMENT-LOOK AT ALL THE NAMES OF THOSE PROTECTING AND SERVING---THEY GREW UP HERE AND HAVE NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT. THEY SERVE OUR COUNTRY IN IRAQ THAT IS HONORABLE, HOWEVER WHAT DO THEY REALLY KNOW ABOUT CRIME? HOW MANY LOWER TOWNSHIP OFFICERS HAVE A DEGREE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT OR HAVE BEEN TRAINED IN A POPULATED MAJOR CITY???? THERE IS A FINE LINE BETWEEN THE LAW AND THE CRIMINALS. ONE MAJOR REASON I LEFT THE AREA 30 YEARS AGO---THE OVER ALL MENTALITY

Kensington cousins...I am sick of reports everyday that confirm the trash that lives here. Get some pride and work instead of stealing from others. With Bush and this economy, it is hard enough to make it let alone people stealing your hard earned dollars. The County should be ashamed for allowing criminals to repeat their behavior. Repeat offenders should get no bail end of story. I guess it won't be until your house is robbed?

This is the same Melissa Waltz that was just indicted on stealing credit cards and using them and is out on bail for that waiting for trial. She is typical *** thinking she can steal everything instead of work hard like the rest of us. I sure hope she doesn't get out on bail again and turn around like before and do this stuff again! Put her away where she belongs... JAIL!!!!!!
