On Sunday, June 22, 2008 the Avalon Performing Arts Council (APAC) will hold its 21st annual Art Show and Sale at Community Hall, 30th St and the Beach. The hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free.
The works of sixty-three professional artists will be exhibited. These artists will vie for 17 cash prizes, which includes a Best in Show award, new for 2008. Also new this year will be works by sixteen emerging artists. Each one will enter a painting which will not be judged but will be entered in a drawing for gift certificates from Michael's Arts and Crafts. .
A very special treat awaits the door prize winner, as "Gina C" of Sea Isle City, NJ has generously donated her framed watercolor painting of Townsend’s Inlet Bridge. You just might go home as its proud owner!
The Avalon Snack Bar will be open and offering beverages and a light lunch.
