ROTARY BREAKFAST HELPS RANCH HOPE
SEAVILLE – The Ocean City-Upper Township Noon Rotary Club will hold a community breakfast on May 17th, 2008 at the Seaville United Methodist Church, 3100 Shore Road (Rte. 9) in Seaville.
This “Breakfast of Hope” will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Donations for the breakfast are $10.00 for adults and children under 12 are free of charge. All proceeds will benefit Ranch Hope for Boys and Girls.
“Ranch Hope’s mission to serve at risk youth corresponds to Rotary’s goal to support efforts that help children and youth,” said John Andrews, club president. “Even though the Ranch is not based in our community, the organization serves children from throughout the State of New Jersey.”
Founded in 1964 by the Rev. David L. Bailey, current president of the South Seaville Camp Meeting, Ranch Hope serves “at risk” children and families throughout the Delaware Valley. Its mission is to provide learning environments for boys and girls whose needs can best be met through experiences outside their home, where they can obtain or regain their long-term academic, behavioral and spiritual focus.
Based in Alloway Township, Salem County, the organization includes Victory House for girls in Williamstown, NJ, the Shelter of Hope and Camp Edge. For more information about Ranch Hope’s programs visit: www.ranchhope.org.
