The Cape May County Library is pleased to offer a new reading group “The Naturalist Book Club” for anybody interested in reading popular books about nature and then discussing them in an open forum. Meetings will be held at the Main Branch of the Library, 30 Mechanic St., Cape May Court House on the second Thursday of each month beginning on May 8th from7:00-8:00 p.m..
Members of the Naturalist Book Club will explores current books about nature, classic nature books, and even books about well-known and obscure naturalists. The library can provide the following books being discussed for anyone interested in joining the club:
• May 8th – “The Big Year: a Tale of Man, Nature, and Fowl Obsession” by Mark Obmascik
• June 12th – “Noah’s Garden: Restoring the Ecology of Our Own Backyards” by Sara Stein Bonnett
• July 10th – “The Tree in My Forest” by Bernd Heinrich
