Enjoy a weekend adventure to see the wild ponies of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands May 31 and June 1 with the Wetlands Institute. Travel from the Institute aboard a comfortable bus, cross the bay on the Cape May Lewes Ferry and continue down the Delmarva Peninsula while enjoying films about the ponies. After lunch enjoy a nature boat trip to look for ponies and birds or visit the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Sunday morning enjoy a behind the scenes guided tour of the refuge to look for the wild ponies, the endangered Delmarva squirrel and other wildlife with time to explore the downtown area including the unique shops and restaurants. The trip includes a one-night hotel stay, transportation, one lunch, breakfast, and all scheduled admission fees. Cost is $200 for single room, $175 per person for double room and $150 per person for a triple room. Children, ages 8-12, are $150; no children below the age of 8 are allowed.
