COURT HOUSE — Freeholder Gerald Thornton announced July 11 that the Cape May County Department of Aging will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on its proposed Area Plan Grant on Aug. 6 at 2 p.m.

The hearing will focus on the 2009 update of the plan that covers services the county intends to fund during 2009. The Public Hearing will take place in the Meeting Room at the Social Services Building, 4005 Route 9 South in Rio Grande.
