Are you telling me that a company from your "belly up" list actually hired 150 new employees? How is that possible?
In all honesty, I'm worried about the spending too, but I haven't taken a good look at his proposed stimulus. |

there are plenty of places to address spending. cut defense spending by 1/3, it should be more like half but we know how the right loves guns. get out of afghanistan yesterday and save 150 billion a year and thats 150 billion every year you're not in a war, what an easy fix. means test social security and medicare that alone will keep the programs going for another 20/30 years and you don't have to screw people who played by the rules. on the corporate side: lose tax breaks, close loopholes etc. this is all stuff everybody knows but there is no political will. once again look for the middle class and working poor to get it in the neck.  |

As long as you listen to millionaire talking heads on Fox and MSNBC, CNN for your editorial content they call news, your getting the correct disinformation. The rich want their pie, and they want to prevent you from getting yours, while using the federal govt to barely break even with enough incentives to stay poor and an IRS tax plan that punishes you for growing your income until you hit what 200k? 400k? Until that mark where you have more money than most would know what to do with properly, your hit with new tax increases at 80k, 120k, 150k, just enough to take the avg savings from a middle class earner and send it to the govt. While those making millions see no tax increases.

Wrong, the fact is that wealth has been "redistributed" to the rich through favorable tax laws for 40 years. America has the most massive income inequality in the world and most of the undeveloped world. Republicans have been very skilled in duping people like you into helping take money out of your pocket and putting more into the pocket of their rich benefactors. Only it doesn't really take much skill to fool people like you.

Why do we spend TRILLONS on educating the poor if they can not work? What is the point of spending the money?
Why are poor Asians able to go to school and get jobs while poor inner city Dems can not? Asians have the highest per capita income. Hmmm. |

I already suggested we eliminate ALL the deductions and go with a flat tax. ARe you on board? This is where YOU flop on the issue becuause you will have to pay your share.
PS. What are you going to do when the rich take their money and leave the country? Who will pay for your welfare programs? |

They do not pay a lower rate here. You are too dumb to do your homework.
If you think the US pays a lower rate then why are the foreign rich not moving their money here? That would be smart according to YOUR logic. Do you see anyone with money trying to move their money here? Do you see any foreign companies trying to set up their HQ here in the USA for tax advantages?

If over half don't pay accordign to YOU and the average is 28% then on average the people that do pay are paying over 55%. YOUR math was bogus.
A handful of Obama supporters like GE don't pay anyting. They will stay. Obama has given them tax breaks. The people that do pay will still leave.

I never claimed that 55% of US corporations didn't pay taxes in one year. The origiona post was said "at some point in..I think7 years. I never provided any math do back anything I've posted. I posted a legitimate source and proved that US corporationgs actually pay a lower rate than in most rich nations. You're latest reply is just another temper tantrum that you throw when someone stands up to you.
The bottome line is that 55% of US companies didn't pay taxes at some point...because of favorable loopholes and subsidies. US companies do pay less than an average effective tax rate. None of what I've said is wrong. You are attributing things to my that I never said.

That does not prove anyting you [redacted]. They might have lost money that one year. IN that same report(figure 2) it also says that 72% of foreign controlled companies did not report taxes in at least ONE year. YOUR report does not even back up your point you [redacted]. |

Did you forget YOUR bogus math in that same thread? You tried to say that OVER half the companies don't pay taxes and you also said they have an effective rate of only 28% or so. If over half don't pay accordign to YOU and the average is 28% then on average the people that do pay are paying over 55%. YOUR math was bogus.

My only claim was that US corporatins pay less than the average effective tax rate and that 55% didn't pay taxes at some point. The source is solid and what I posted is true. The only thing I erred in was that I forgot to include "at some point in the last seven years."

Max is racist, according to you, because he references the inner city welfare recipients who keep spitting out babies and collecting government checks. Well guess what, shark boy. There are plenty down here doing the same thing and they come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes in this area.
There's a big difference between being poor and needy and being lazy and unmotivated. The sooner you see the difference the better you will understand how catering to the lazy and unmotivated and mixing them up with the truly needy doesn't justify their entitlement...........and I don't care what color they are or if they have stripes or polka dots. Those who "work the system" are taking aid away from those who really need it. They are putting a strain on the working men and women in this country and Obama is stoking the fire. And no, it's not OK.

I honestly don't recall calling you a racist. If I insulted you and you took exception to it, I would appoligize. How many times have people here tried to reason with Max? Only for him to again insult them or continue his rants as if nothing was said. As for Max, he is, or at least the likes to play the racist to provoke others. The innercity dems, liberals, or gimmycrats are, and you know it, a thinly vailed reference to blacks and according to your friend, they are all lazy and on welfare and destroy everything.
