St. Mary’s This ‘N’ That Thrift Shop to Reopen March 6

RIO GRANDE — Mustard Seed of Cape May County announces that its subsidiary, St. Mary’s This ‘N’ That Thrift Shop will hold a grand reopening at its expanded space in the Village Shops in Rio Grande on Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m.
There will be more merchandise displayed in the newly outfitted space and there will be refreshments.
At 11 a.m. there will be a presentation of a $25,000 matching gift to Family Promise of Cape May County, an organization who reaches out to help homeless families.
Mustard Seed is a faith-based, 501c(3) organization dedicated to incubating and nurturing creative initiatives that provide relief for the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged residents of Cape May County.
Its subsidiary, St. Mary’s This ‘N’ That Thrift Shop provides quality clothing, furniture and household items at reasonable prices in a welcoming atmosphere where shoppers can find companionship and a willing ear as well as needed merchandise. Its profits are dedication to housing initiatives in Cape May County.
Another subsidiary, Heavenly Scavengers, rescues furniture and household items from houses being torn down and passes them along to the needy in the county for free.
