UPDATE: Wildwood Assault Victim Airlifted To Cooper Trauma

WILDWOOD– An unidentified teenage female was airlifted to Cooper University Trauma Center in Camden by Medevac 5 following a reported assault that occurred on the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3.
After further investigating by Wildwood police, the teenage female suffered a head injury in an underage drinking incident and was not assaulted, police said, Friday, March 20.
Police said charges were filed on the juveniles involved for underage drinking.
