Cape May Police Seek to Identify Theft Suspects

CAPE MAY— Cape May Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in three incidents.
The first incident occurred July 28 at the Wave One store located on the Washington Street Mall. The suspect entered the store and requested change from a store employee. Once the register was opened the actor grabbed several large bills totaling $200. The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early twenties. At the time of the theft, the suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, beige hat and dark pants.
A second incident occurred on Aug. 3 on the Washington Street Mall, which was similar to the incident on July 28.In this case the suspect walked to the cash register and attempted to open the register. The suspect was unsuccessful in this attempted theft and fled the area. This suspect is described as a white male, approximately 18 years old with acne on his face and a long nose. Shown are photos captured of the male suspect from the July 28.
A third incident occurred at the Andrews Jewelers located on the Washington Street Mall on Aug. 8.
The suspect, a white female wearing a purple jacket, entered the store and stole a $400 yellow, glass bowl. The surveillance photo shown here captured the image of the female that stole this item.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to arrest.
