Storm Prompts Early Herald Deadlines

By Herald Staff

RIO GRANDE – Anticipating storm-related complications which may impact the usual production schedule, the Cape May County Herald is advancing advertising deadlines for the Aug. 31 edition.
“We know this Labor Day edition is especially important for residents and visitors, as well as businesses who wish to connect with these readers,” said Preston Gibson, the Herald’s Development Director. “Like everyone else in Cape May County, we are looking at the weather and making preparations. We will do the best we can to get the print edition out on time. We are also making special provisions to sustain our website, social media and mobile alert operations throughout the storm.”
The deadline for classified advertising will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26; the deadline for other advertising will be 3 p.m. today, Aug. 25.
Conditions permitting, the Herald will be published and distributed, as usual, Wednesday; otherwise, as soon as possible thereafter. The Herald website will be maintained continually, as long as power and communications capabilities permit.
