MONTEMORRO, CHARLES JOSEPH

MONTEMURRO, CHARLES JOSEPH Charles Joseph "Joe" Montemurro, age 87, of North Wildwood. Joe passed away suddenly Friday September 8, at home. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Montemurro of Sicklerville, NJ. His brother Raymond John predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Ann, and his son Vincent and Vince's wife, Gina. Joe attended Wesley College and received a BS and MS from Glassboro College (Rowan). Joe was an industrial arts teacher at the Margaret Mace School and the Atlantic County Special Services School. Joe was a member of the North Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company #1 and was most proud when he was elected to Battalion Chief. Joe also served in the National Guard. Other interests included being a member of the Pittman Hobo Band and a Football high-school Referee for the Cape-Atlantic football league. A viewing will be held at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ From 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Thursday September 14, 2023. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to the North Wildwood Fire and/or Police Department.
