DILLS, JASON ROBERT

DILLS, JASON ROBERT Jason Robert Dills, 44, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on July 15, 2023 after a battle with Esophageal cancer. Born on March 8, 1979.Jason lived most of his life in North Cape May, NJ where he was a graduate of Lower Regional High School. He spent the early part of his years working for the Acme grocery store chain before getting into the restaurant business with his family and later cooking at the Local Uncle Bills and managing the kitchen at the Bayshore Lounge. Jason later pursued a career as a logistics warehouse expert at the healthcare technology company, Ascom. He was a dedicated and loved team member who always went above and beyond to help. Jason loved his job and the people he worked alongside, becoming friends with everyone. Jason was an extremely caring, honest, funny, and genuine person who was kind to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Jason had a passion for Movies, Seinfeld and music. He was a huge Star Wars fan but an even bigger fan of professional wrestling. Hè has been to multiple Wrestle Mania's as well as other live wrestling events. He and his best friends Dom, Hank and Kevin used to star in their own "Backyard Wrestling" taped events. He was lucky to have the best friends that anyone could ever ask for. Jason loved music as well. He was a huge Van Halen fan but appreciated all music. He also spent a lot of his free time playing all the latest video games, having every game system possible including the PS5. He was an amazing uncle to his nephews. Whether it was playing video games, watching a new show together, talking and laughing or coaching them in soccer. Jason enjoyed every moment of being their uncle. Jason was loved by all who ever met him. He treated everyone kindly and greeted everyone with a smile. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him. "And in the end" the love you take is equal to the love you make". Jay left this world full of love. He was the best brother and son anyone could ever ask for. Jason is survived by his parents, Ralph and Betty Dills, brother David and his nephews, Lennon and Luke. His loving godparents Linda and Billy Davenport, cousin Jen Davenport, uncles and aunts; Barbara Antoinelli (Tony), Helen Bebee, Patty Bebee Wilson (Scott) cousins Mickey Morey Kiernan (Mark), Wylie McSorley (John), Ryan Morey (Coleen), Anthony, Michael and Gina Antoinelli.
