Scholarship Program Announced for Performing Arts Students

By From John Walter Band

Every year across New Jersey, more than 50% of high school students are engaged in some form of performing arts including music, dance, and theater. In Cape May County, our schools have a long tradition of students excelling in the performing arts. In recognition of this talent, the John Walter Cape Community Band (JWB) is pleased to announce its 2023 Scholarship Program.
Supporting performing arts students in their education is a central focus of JWB Community and Outreach Programs. Graduating seniors may apply for the scholarship, which is named in honor of Raymond Adams, Jr. a long-time member and leader of the JWB. Scholarship(s) will be awarded to deserving students living in Cape May County and currently involved in any music or performing arts discipline.
Applications and information are available on the John Walter Cape Community Band website at johnwalterband.org/community-outreach-programs/
Applications must be received no later than May 15, 2023.
