Green Creek Firefighters Rally for One of Their Own

GREEN CREEK — Fire company officials announced a beef ‘n’ beer to benefit a veteran volunteer firefighter who has fallen seriously ill with lymphoma.
Mike Keun has served with the company for 39 years. He can no longer work due to his illness.
Keua does not have any medical insurance and medical bills are adding up. His fellow brothers and sisters of the fire company have joined together to raise money so Keun can get well.
The Green Creek Fire Company will have a blood drive on Thur., Oct 7 from 1-7 p.m. and a beef and beer on Sat., Oct 23 from 6-9 p.m.
