Student Thanks Sponsors For Fundraising Efforts

By FERGUSON

To The Editor:
I am a junior at the Cape May County Technical High School.
I have been chosen to be a part of the People to People Ambassador Delegation this summer to travel to New Zealand and Australia. As part of this delega-tion I have been preparing for almost a year to repre-sent the United States.
Even though we are in a recession, some special people have come forward to help me raise funds for my trip.
Steve and Jay from Steve’s 47 Cafe and their staff really helped me in a big way; they opened the cafe on April 9 for a spaghetti dinner to help me raise funds for my trip. I have also received donations from Preceptor Alpha Xi Sorority, Vietnam Veterans Chap-ter 955 of Wildwood.
I also want to extend special thanks to Father Bill and St. Raymond’s Church and many family mem-bers and friends and everyone for their love and sup-port for my upcoming trip.
