By Lauren Suit

NORTH WILDWOOD — The city appointed two residents of the city to the North Wild-wood Police Department Nov. 4.
Daniel R. Schules worked for the department since May 2005 as a seasonal police officer. The last two years he worked filling in for missing officers.
His father, Robert, and younger sister, Christa, were in attendance as his mother Carol pinned on his badge.
Mayor Bill Henfey noted that James R. Flynn would have the badge numbered 250.
“When I was in the department, I was badge number four,” he said.
Flynn had worked for the department as a seasonal police officer and a fill in for missing officers since May 2007. Flynn has an Associates degree in criminal justice.
His father, James, and brother, Patrick, were in attendance as his mother Loreen pinned on his badge.
