National Weather Service Issues Frost Advisory

A FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT FRIDAY.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT BRINGING WITH IT
CLEAR SKIES & LIGHT WINDS. THIS.COMBINED WITH THE COOL AIR
ALREADY OVER THE AREA.WILL LEAD TO AREAS OF FROST AFTER
MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.ESPECIALLY AWAY FROM URBAN AREAS. AS THE
GROWING SEASON HAS GOTTEN UNDERWAY.SOME EARLY SPROUTS AND
VEGETATION WILL BE VULNERABLE.
THE FROST ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS WHERE THE GROWING
SEASON HAS STARTED. AREAS CLOSE TO THE SHORE & DE BAY
SHOULD REMAIN JUST WARM ENOUGH TO KEEP FROST FROM FORMING. BUT.
AREAS OF FROST ARE POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE ESPECIALLY IN SHELTERED
LOCATIONS.WHERE THE SOIL IS SANDY.& IN THE PINE BARRENS.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.
A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED. COVER TENDER VEGETATION
TODAY. OR BRING PLANTS INDOORS IF POSSIBLE.
