To the Editor:
I would like to say “thank you” to the woman who paid for an angel necklace that my husband was purchasing for me for Valentine’s Day.
He picked it out at a local store, and asked that the salesperson hold it for him while he left the jewelry counter to pick out a card.
When he returned to the counter, the salesperson told him that “the lady that was here and left paid for it.”
It was a totally selfless act, and one that makes us and everyone that hears of this, smile. Thank you, whomever you are, and may God bless you.
