Summertime Silliness Ensues at Cape May Kids Playhouse

CAPE MAY—Silly summertime fun takes over Cape May during Cape May Kids Playhouse, co-sponsored by Cape May Stage and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Visit Cape May Stage’s air-conditioned Robert Shackleton Playhouse, Bank and Lafayette streets, for “Cape May Kids!,” this summer’s Cape May Kids Playhouse, offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, July 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16, Saturday, Aug. 6 and Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.
“Cape May Kids!” written by Marlena Lustik and directed by Eric Oleson, is inspired by the novella “Down The Shore” by Gwynne Spencer. The story deals with a family vacation in Cape May in the 1950s, and is filled with nostalgia for grandparents and silly fun and music for kids.
