Wildwood Crest Daily Outdoor Fitness Classes Begin June 27

WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host various outdoor fitness classes seven days per week for most of the summer. Classes will be held daily at 8:30 a.m. from Monday, June 27 through Sunday, Aug. 21.
Most of the fitness classes will be held on the refurbished beach pier located at Heather Road and the beach every day at 8:30 a.m.
In addition, outdoor Zumba classes will be held each Saturday and Monday at 8:30 a.m. at Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
All of the classes are led by experienced, high-energy instructors.
Cost is $5 per class. A punch card good for any 12 classes can also be purchased for $50. The card is good for any fitness class.
Classes are as follows:
Sundays (Beach Pier) – Yoga
Mondays (Centennial Park) – Zumba
Mondays (Beach Pier) – Yogalates
Tuesdays (Beach Pier) – Kickbox Bootcamp
Wednesdays (Beach Pier) – Cardio Pump
Thursdays (Beach Pier) – Xtreme Sculpt
Fridays (Beach Pier) – Pilates
Saturdays (Centennial Park) – Zumba
Saturdays (Beach Pier) – Pilates

Free Outdoor Yoga Classes at Sunset Lake Begin July 5:
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will hold free yoga classes each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m. to dusk on beautiful Sunset Lake along New Jersey Avenue at Miami Road from July 5 through Aug. 18.
Recreation leader Bobi Watson will direct an eclectic array of styles, calming the mind, focusing energy and enhancing the yogic journey, while simultaneously offering the opportunity to enjoy a twilight sunset on beautiful Sunset Lake. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and should also bring a mat or a blanket.
