A campaign to raise $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation children in Cape May County has been announced by the Greater Wildwood Hotel and Motel Association
The organization is seeking at least $100 each in contributions from its membership that includes 160 hotels and motels and 180 other businesses.

On Saturday, May 3, 2008 Wildwood Crest will have a Borough Wide Yard Sale starting at 8 am. 4 local girls will set up a table at 5905 Park Blvd, Wildwood Crest and sell brownies, cookies and lemonade that they have made. All the funds that they raise will go for supplies for The Animal Welfare Society of Cape May County located at 40 Route 47S, Dias Creek, NJ. The girls will take the funds and go to Petsmart and purchase supplies for the no-kill animal shelter. All 4 animal loving girls go to St. Ann School in Wildwood.

Spring classes for pre-schoolers will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, April 9 to May, at the Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor. Children 4 years of age and older will learn about what’s happening in nature this time of year plus have fun with crafts, stories, activities, adventures in the marsh and more. Classes are 1 to 2:30 p.m. and cost is $60 for members for eight classes, $70 for nonmembers. Individual classes are $8 for members, $9 nonmembers. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Call 368-1211 for information or to register.
