“The RMS Titanic,” a display of memorabilia and information highlighting the RMS Titanic, an Olympic-class passenger liner that sunk on the night of April 14, 1912, during her maiden voyage are featured. Morey’s Piers prepares to host over 8,000 scouts, troop leaders and chaperones for its 13th annual Beach Jam on May 16th through the 18th. Scouts enjoy an exciting, memorable and safe beach camping adventure with a special weekend package in addition to Merit Badge and Fun Patch workshops. This unique event takes place on the beach at Morey’s Piers with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. Start: 10:00 am

Spring classes for pre-schoolers will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays, April 9 to May, at the Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor. Children 4 years of age and older will learn about what’s happening in nature this time of year plus have fun with crafts, stories, activities, adventures in the marsh and more. Classes are 1 to 2:30 p.m. and cost is $60 for members for eight classes, $70 for nonmembers. Individual classes are $8 for members, $9 nonmembers.
