The Women's Civic Club of Stone Harbor Hosts the 59th Annual Antique Show

The Women's Civic Club of Stone Harbor will be having their 59th Annual Antique Show to help raise money for club activities and charities.
The show will take place on Friday, July 11 from 1-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 12 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Stone Harbor Elementary School on 93rd and 3rd avenues. Quality antiques from dealers on the East Coast will be shown.
Civic Club President Virginia Maslin said, "We hope a lot of people will come to browse, or buy, or both to help the civic club and support its charities."

Friends of Jimmy Hornbeck Host Fundraiser

Friends of Jimmy Hornbeck will host a fundraiser Friday, June 27, 7:30 p.m. at Menz Restaurant in Rio Grande. Hornbeck, the father of two, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The fundraiser will help the family with mounting expenses. The fun night will include entertainment by the band Piracy. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling Skip at 780-1934 or Brent at 463-5484.
